The websites of LCM which were created in Tridion consist of 18 publications in 5 different Blueprinting levels. More than 70 users in different regional offices, maintain very regularly its content. All websites combined add up to over 15000 pages, managed in and published by Tridion.
We have put in place three different environments, development, user acceptance and production, which are kept continually in sync andall exist of one content management backend server publishing to two webservers.
To provide the best search functionality on the public websites we implemented Oracle Ultrasearch, a software package already available within the LCM organisation. A special Java layer has been developed to integrate the website with different external applications. This layer was created in a very created an a very generic architecture, which allows reuse for different future websites and applications.
