Panoptic builds upon a longstanding relationship with the Tridion product suite. Invincible as Tridion is in its multilanguage capabilities, it is a strong player on the Belgian and European market. SDL Tridion are currently working their way into the US market. Panoptic eagerly follows up the impressive changes the Tridion tools have seen in the last two years. We now guide a number of our clients through an upgrade cycle so that they will be taking advantage of the new dotnet based platform. Panoptic also currently implements the Tridion product suite at some new customers.
Whereas we see that US-based vendors of Web Content Management systems don't have unambiguous answers to multilanguage implementations, Tridion's functional core builds around the concept of Blueprinting (a flexible system of inheritance which allows translation and localization) and provides an out of the box answer to translatable web content. Rather surprised in the year 2007 when SDL acquired Tridion, looking back this move turned out to be a smooth shift towards to the world of managing translations, a matter which is very valuable to most of Tridion's customers.
